Der Container ist angekommen/The Container has arrived

Gestern konnten wir nun endlich unsere 12 Kartons aus dem Container abholen. Einen großen Dank an die Spenderinnen. Die Second-Hand-Kleidung wird an die Armen in Bakau verteilt. Hier ein paar Bilder vom Abholen der Kartons. 

Yesterday we could finally get the 12 Boxes from the container. We are very thankful to all the donators. We will distribute the second-hand-dresses to the poor people in Bakau. Here some photos of the collection from the container. 

In eigener Sache / Internal Issue

Da wir mehr und mehr auch englischsprachige Unterstützer haben, werde ich mich künftig bemühen, unsere Posts zweisprachig zu gestalten. So Gott will, habt ihr nichts dagegen und bleibt uns treu.

Kleine Erfolgsgeschichte aus Sifo / Little story of success from Sifo

Sifo ist ein kleines Dorf, etwa 60 km von uns entfernt. Von dort kam eines Tages ein Hilferuf, um die selbstgegründete Koranschule der Bewohner zu unterstützen. Sie wollten den Lehrern ein kleines Gehalt bezahlen, konnten es aber von ihrem Lebensunterhalt nicht abzweigen. Da wir ihnen auch kein regelmäßiges Gehalt versprechen konnen, boten wir an, ihnen Wolle zu schenken, mit der sie dann Mützen und Schals herstellen, verkaufen und mit dem Profit, ihre Schule unterstützen können. So geschah es dann auch. Hier ein Foto der stolzen Häklerinnen und ihrer Produkte. Mal wieder ein gelungenes Projekt der Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. 

Ihr dürft gerne weiter Wolle spenden, denn es gibt noch viele andere Frauen, die wir damit unterstützen könnten.

Little Story of Success

Sifo is a small village, around 60 km far. One day they asked for help to support their quranic school with the salary for two teachers (20€ each). As we also were not able to support them regulary, we offered them whool, to produce caps and scarfs. With the profit they can pay their teachers. This is how they have done it. Here a photo of the happy women and their products. A successfull story of "help to help yourself". 

You can still continue, donating whool. There are many other women, we can support in this way.
